Anton Halt in London

Anton Halt passed international training

Wednesday, 09 July 2014

KMP trainee Anton Halt has passed the optional commercial training to "Kaufmann International (AHK)" with the London European College of Business and Management (ECBM) which is an institute for continuing vocational education under the German-British Chamber of Industry & Commerce. For preparation, he spent three weeks in London with intensive learning. The seminar he attended there and the exam were held in English. Besides business management, intercultural knowledge and knowledge about the country were among the topics to be dealt. The examinees proved their fluency in English during a presentation and in addition as part of a project work which they had to carry out directly in England and the results of which they had to present as well. The participants stayed with host families and spent their spare time with comprehensive sightseeing.

When asked why he participated, Anton Halt explained: “I wanted to make use of the opportunity to improve my language skills as I would like to work in an international environment later. And it attracted me to stay abroad, so I didn’t hesitate to enrol”. The vocational school in Pfarrkirchen/Germany which he attends in parallel to his training with KMP, had offered the participation in this EU funded project for the first time. Anton Halt still has to wait for the certificate about his business training however. It will be granted after he has passed the exam to the vocational training “Industriekaufmann” with the local chamber of commerce and industry.

Management and colleagues of KMP PrintTechnik AG are glad about their trainee's high commitment and keep their fingers crossed for him.
