"WIR gegen Gewalt" is a local initiative of the section "Streetwork" of the local Caritas association and means "We against violence". Within this project which is part of Caritas' prevention work, young people receive training on how to act correctly in situations where violence could occur.
This 5 hours prevention training takes place in local schools. So far, more than 5,000 pupils in more than 200 classes have participated. Nine in ten of them found it "good" or even "very good" as "Streetwork" has informed.
