How is KMP affected by the Covid-19 pandemic?

Above to the concern for our health and that of our families, which always comes first, usual work routines have become daily core questions: Do we still get enough material? Is production running? Can we supply our customers?

We are happy to be able to answer these questions with “Yes” today, even though we are not immune to restrictions either. Apart from niche products, we are generally available for delivery in the core range. The understandable border controls only result in delays in delivery traffic and consequently also in production and shipping. Our suppliers have so far not reported any failures; we are currently not limited in terms of production and shipping.

With a view to possible bottlenecks, we ask you as a customer for larger orders, which we can deliver in partial quantities. In our experience, this would be the best way to ensure that the KMP products are available at the required time.

Of course, we have also taken internal measures and adhere to the official recommendations on hygiene:

• Our field service has stopped traveling, our sales office is there for you by phone and email as usual.

• For the time being until April 19, 2020, outside parties may not enter our buildings.

• In order to maintain the flow of materials, special hygiene measures apply to delivery traffic and goods are handed over in the delivery zone outside the building.

• We take special care to ensure that our employees comply with the hygiene rules, that our rooms remain clean and that they are regularly ventilated.
